Shabby Bookshelf-SOLD

You would never know that this cute bookshelf was literally in pieces when I found it! My handyman(aka Paul) fixed the broken legs, glued, clamped and nailed it back together. It's incredibly sturdy now and looking good with a fresh coat of paint.

Hand Painted Weathered Door Panel

This hand painted sign is made from an old weathered door panel out of an early 1900 home. Very cool character, patina and I love the saying too.

I can't wait to do a few more, just need to decide what the next creations are going to say!

Garden Chairs

On this first day of spring, I thought it was necessary to post some cheerful dining chairs!

These garden chairs got a facelift and are cuter then they ever were in their former life. They are painted cream and lightly distressed. I updated the dreadful fabric with a green floral fabric that gives them a fresh feel! Check out the before picture of these chairs below, who in their right mind chose that crazy fabric--yikes!

I have six of these chairs total, they go great with the gateleg table I posted a few months ago (pictured below).

The chairs pair perfectly with this shabby gateleg table.

Spring Green Floret Fabric

SNEAK PEEK...

I have six of the cutest shabby white garden dining chairs that needed new fabric for their cushions. This new green floret fabric just arrived and I'm just loving it's fun pattern and bright color. I will post the final outcome later this week.

Black Traditional Desk

This is a sturdy, solid wood desk that has lots of storage including a pull out center drawer that houses a keyboard or laptop perfectly. I painted and distressed this desk all around, so it doesn't have to be shoved in a corner or against the wall!

Primitive Side Table

Check out the patina on this primitive little table! I've enjoyed this piece in my home for the last several years and have decided to part with it since I'm just plain running out of room:)

It's rustic, it's got character, it's just so cool!

Black + Tan Traditional Buffet

What a useful solid wood piece - buffet, entry table, sofa table small workstation...lots of options!
I left the top and drawers in their natural state, but gave the body a couple coats of black and a light distressing.

Victorian Accent Table

I acquired this little Victorian accent table from my parents' cabin. It had been used for years as a tv stand but had been shoved in the corner for the last few years. I tightened her up and painted it creamy white...she's looking fab!

Black Sofa Table

I've been bad about capturing pictures before I start on the transformation but trust me, if you would have seen this one when I brought it home, ugh!

Now it's a beautiful black sofa table with some light distressing to highlight the nice details of the piece! I'm thrilled how cute she turned out, hope you agree!

Upcycled Cake Plate

After my last candy dish creation a friend of mine suggested I make a cake plate, so I did! I combined an awesome old silver candlestick and a pretty glass tray to make this piece. Cake, cookies, muffins, cheese & fruit...so many uses for this cutie!

Grey + White Dresser

I was lucky enough to find this little three drawer dresser with the original hardware including all 4 wheels! I gave it a couple coats of paint, distressed it just a bit and finished with a coat of stain and poly.
The two tone color, vintage hardware, and delicate wood detail make this a fun, unique and usable piece!

Mahogany Side Table

I did a quick refresh on this adorable solid mahogany side table, leaving the top natural, painting the base black and finishing with a light coat of wax.

End table, side table, or night stand...this is a versatile little piece.

Vintage Trunk Style Cedar Dresser

Beautiful cedar dresser with two nice deep drawers and simple scalloping on the bottom. Great patina on this trunk like piece that would be cute at the base of a bed or even a coffee table.

Antique Moss Green Desk

Another solid piece, destined for a landfill, rescued and cuter then ever.
The body has been painted moss green and lightly distressed, and the top was in nice condition so I just sanded it down and gave it a fresh coat of stain and poly. The hardware has been updated with all matching vintage brass pulls that I ordered off Etsy.
