Red Vintage Dresser

An early morning rummage sale resulted in this purchase. I cleaned it up and painted it my favorite red...she'll certainly brighten up any room now!

I'm still contemplating whether or not I can part with this one:)

Thanks for looking - have a great day!

Warm Mustard Tables

When I picked up these two little tables I knew it was time to paint them a nice warm fall color...and mustard is one of my favorites. Both are nice solid tables and are cute as can be with new paint!

I also included a couple metal military bins in this picture, wouldn't they be fun loaded with fall decorations--corn, gourds and pumpkins!

Thanks for looking:)

Shabby Magazine Table

Sometimes people ask me where I find my pieces of furniture. Well, I find things at garage sales, auctions, craigslist, and even dumpsters(seriously, people throw some really cool things in the trash).

This magazine table was a piece that a friend picked up for me at a garage sale. You know you are a true junker when your friends are texting you pictures of furniture that they find at garage sales just to see if I want them to pick it up! Hahaa!

Super cute lines and detailing, this piece turned out adorable after I painted it creamy vanilla and shabby'd her up a bit.

I've got the best friends:)

Shabby Turquoise Cabinet/Dresser

What's not to love about this beautiful cabinet?!
She is really well constructed so I just cleaned her up and gave her a vintage looking turquoise paint job. With several pull out drawers behind the doors and one large bottom drawer, she is ready to store a ton of goodies!
Wish I had room...I'd keep her for myself!

Dimensions:
40"w x 22"d x 44"h

Amazing Aqua Dresser

I rescued this amazing dresser from an old farm building. If you can imagine, they were using it for a work bench!

It's made of solid oak construction complete with all four original wheels. The bottom drawer was broken beyond repair, so we replaced it with a shelf and a couple baskets. I painted it a beautiful aqua, I think the paint chip called it tropical oasis.

It's fun and it's functional! I envision it being used for a TV stand, bedroom dresser, hall/entryway storage!

Dimensions: 42"w x 20"d x 29"h

Antique Two Tone Grey + White Buffet

Just finished up this nice buffet this past week. The old dark stain just didn't suit the cute lines on this piece so I brightened her up with a neutral grey and creamy white.
She's a beauty!
Dimensions: 54"w x 18 1/2"d x 36"h

Antique Upright Dresser

This dresser was a real mess when I found it, but I thought it had lots of potential.

I repaired and replaced the damaged parts, made some new shelves for the inside, primed it, painted, sanded, stained and sealed it all with poly. Some if the original hardware was missing so I updated it all with matching antique knobs.

She had potential alright!

White Kidney Desk

I picked up this little kidney shaped dressing table/desk a few weeks ago. It was really solid, but just needed some refinishing. I painted it pure white, sanded the edges a bit for a light distressing and finished it with a clear wax. I left the knobs unfinished for a little contrast.

Buttercup Dresser

I started this project weeks ago but ran into some issues getting the new hardware so this one sat in the garage for a lot longer then I had anticipated! Nonetheless, she is done now and cute as a button!

The mirror on this dresser was in terrible shape so with a lot of help from my husband (well let's be honest, he did it all)...he cut, cleaned and clear coated this really cool rusty metal screen and installed it into the frame. To balance the rusty metal screen I thought the glass knobs were a must have.

This sturdy dresser will be super cute in an entry with pictures displayed or an office message center or in a girls room to hang jewelry on.
